Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Noy is an international authority in enumerative combinatorics
and topological graph theory. Today a large extent of what we know about the typical structure of a planar graph is owed to work that was done or inspired by him. He has solved several long standing open problems,established innovative methods and opened up new perspectives for the whole field. During his stay in Germany, he intends to continue his work on random graphs from classes which are defined by structural side constraints such as geometrically characterised graphs and graphs not containing a fixed minor.
